From a young age I loved all animals - but especially horses. My first job was working on a farm where I rode and handled horses. When I graduated high school I started working as an animal caretaker at boarding/daycare facilities. For four years I learned how to provide quality care for many dogs and cats. As a handler in dog playgroup I observed how the dogs communicated with each other but it wasn’t until later that I learned more about what socialization really is. The new founded understanding inspired me to put into practice what I had learned about dog behavior and socialization throughout my years in the industry.
While I was living on a farm I had a cattle dog puppy. Although I provided physical exercise and mental enrichment, I wanted my puppy to have training that involved more guidance and structure. After a trainer worked with my pup, I developed a love for training my dog. From then on I couldn’t have been more enthusiastic about dog training!
I stopped working in 2021 because I had a newborn baby. In 2022 I decided to start working again. I had been a dog walker for a year prior working for a pack walking business and doing my own personal dog walks on my off days. I officially invested into operating a business in August of 2022.
Throughout the years I participated in several training courses to gain more knowledge and become a better trainer. To this day I am a dog enthusiast and have two dogs of my own.
Becoming an entrepreneur has changed my life. I get to make a living doing what I love! I am so appreciative for the opportunity to fulfill dogs & help their families as well.
